A two-drug chemo used for neuroblastoma. Expect lowered blood counts (topotecan can drop them significantly, so a booster and transfusions may be needed) and common effects like nausea, diarrhea, and hair loss. Extra fluids protect the bladder from cyclophosphamide — report any blood in the urine.
Cyclophosphamide + topotecan — a chemo pair used for neuroblastoma (a childhood cancer). Blood-count drops are nadir-based and can be significant (topotecan is strongly myelosuppressive). Cyclophosphamide can irritate the bladder, so fluids (and sometimes mesna) are used. Nausea, diarrhea, and hair loss are common.

A temperature of 100.4°F (38°C) or higher during treatment can mean a
serious infection while your blood counts are low. Call your team or go to the ER — do not
wait it out.

Neutropenia
Typically around days 8–20
A drop in infection-fighting white cells — topotecan lowers counts strongly, so a white-cell booster is often used and any fever is treated urgently. The low point is usually 1-2 weeks after treatment.
Call your team urgently: A temperature of 100.4°F (38.0°C) or higher — an emergency.

Low platelets and anemia
Typically around days 8–20
Drops in platelets (bruising/bleeding) and red cells (tiredness), which may need transfusions. Counts are checked before each dose.
Call your team: Bleeding that won't stop, black/tarry stools, or new breathlessness.

Hair loss

Not tied to a cycle day
These build with the number of doses, or are measured from when treatment started, so a cycle day would be the wrong shape for them. Each keeps the timing its own source states.
Bladder irritation (hemorrhagic cystitis)
Cyclophosphamide can irritate the bladder and cause bleeding, so extra fluids (and sometimes mesna) are given to protect it. Report burning with urination or any blood in the urine.
Call your team: Blood in the urine, or trouble passing urine.

Nausea and diarrhea
Sickness in the first 24 hours is the "acute" phase and usually peaks 2-3 hours in; anything from 24 to 120 hours is the "delayed" phase.
Nausea and loose stools are common and controlled with anti-nausea and anti-diarrheal medicines and hydration.
Call your team: Can't keep fluids down, or many extra stools a day with dizziness.
